Color: Granny Smith Apple Green

Granny Smith

The apple stands alone
All that it needs to be complete
A package of flavor, health, snappiness

Makes me wonder about the Granny for whom this apple was named.
Bet she was spry, clever, industrious
Surrounded by a fresh glowing green aura
A granny anyone would be proud to name and claim
Fresh tongued and crispy witted
Granny Smith
Salt of the Earth
(with a little pepper too)

Loved this one! I also liked your poem down below, way down there a while back. :-) Keep it up! Love it! By the way, thanks for the hammey-downs, keep those coming too! Love those too! :-)
